Royal Harbor Updates, October 3

Those living on the little streets off Kingfish will get their streets resurfaced this month around the end of next week. These are Tuna, Wahoo, etc.. We were fortunate to get this city work done as we all know funds were limited. Thank Maureen Minker for her work on this ongoing  project.

Halloween will again be a celebrated event in Royal Harbor with the annual Halloween Block Party. All residents are asked to participate. If you live on Snook we ask you to decorate a spot in your driveway for trick or treaters. This is usually a cardtable and treats for the youngsters in the area. Families dress up as ghosts, goblins, clowns and so on and parade down the street stopping at each drive that is set up for treats. This is a great way for all of us to meet and to celebrate together.  We will block off the street with police cones. (you still can drive down but police will be here to insure slow speeds at this time). We usually start at 5:30 and go until 7:00 pm.

For those who want to participate as treat givers, etc., but do not live on Snook we ask you to find a friend on Snook and join them. If you are new and do not know someone, email or call me, and I will locate you with another group. If you live on Snook and would welcome another family participation, also email me, and I will place those who ask to you first.  Many times there are 20 or more residents and guests at a home and they also are having their own celebration along with the youngsters. This is a good way to meet your neighbors.
