Exciting new features are coming to the Royal Harbor Web Site. Our Service Provider, Naples Free-Net, is providing many new capabilities as part of a major changeover for the non-profit organizations they service.
Our entire site is being re-programmed, and will have a completely different look. The new system, being easier to work with, will allow for more timely, up-to-date posting of information of interest to Royal Harbor residents, and, particularly, Association members.
A word about the structure of the website: This column, labeled “Home” will be a BLOG where the latest announcements. notices and dates will be published. The latest posting will appear on top, with earlier items available by scrolling down.
Other links across the masthead are fairly routine. The Home-Royal Harbor link just gives a description of the Association, with names and e-mail links of current Board members. Other links cover such things as the Association By-Laws, pertinent City Regulations and an Archive of past issues of our newsletter the PILOT. Of interest is Terry’s list of “FAQs” under the Royal Harbor Community link.
The really exciting part of the change is the addition of new capabilities. For the first time, we’ll be able to add audio-visual features. Such things as videos of Royal Harbor events, audio messages and connecting with services like You Tube, Twitter, Facebook and the like are all possibilities. RSS feeds from important information sources are also possible.
The whole thrust of this makeover is to make the Royal Harbor site more useful, informative, and at the same time, entertaining so viewers keep coming back.
